There are "Body Shop"
organizations that will find and bring developers from other countries to the US.
However, when you bring a developer to the US, you wind up paying a US wage to a person
who often has never lived in a country like the US before. There is an adjustment
period, and you just do not know how well this resource is going to work out and adjust to
very new working conditions. Most work out OK, but some do not and others will use you as
a stepping stone to a better position or a means to bring their family here.
We think you get MUCH more for your
money by sending the job offshore.
